Reflexology and Fascia (Important web of connective tissue through the body)

This is a great page that explains how reflexology works through the fascial system of the body. Makes the "meridian" or "energy channel" phrases make more scientific sense. A must read. Click on this link:

Scientists Use MRI To Validate Reflexology

http://www.medicalread.com/alternate-medicine/scientists-use-functional-mri-to-validate-reflexology-tenets.html

Our God , Our Creator is Awesome!

God spares no details when he creates and that includes us. That is why I believe Reflexology is truly a gift to us from God. He has designed our bodies to self-heal. The nature of our design is to be in balance or to maintain "homeostasis". We are given the tools to help this along, such as "hands-on" modalities like reflexology, massage, accupressure and so on.
Till recently, some of these modalities have not been able to be explained in concrete, scientific ways. Words such as "meridians" and "energy channels" have been the best ways that some of these modalities have been described. Humans have always had a challenge believing in something that they are not able to see in the physical sense. So these types of phrases have scared people off and come across as "new age" or even "kooky" sounding. Well, now science and researchers are finding evidence that reflexology does work and does stimulate parts of our brains. This has been shown through a MRI. Scientitists have also discovered that modalities such as , reflexology, accupressure and accupuncture also have an influence on the fascial system of the body. This is important because fascia is an amazing system of connective tissue that connects nonstop all throughout our body. It surrounds our muscles, organs and so on. Fascia too is gaining more and more respect and research in the scientific community as a very important supportive structure for the organ and musculoskeletal systems of our body. I will post references to this info in later posts.
